Soybean oil: Soybean oil is effective in treating eye soreness and dryness. It contains natural phospholipids that are found in tears. Eye drops that contain soybean oil can moisten, lubricate, and soothe the eye surface.

Chia seeds: Chia seeds are known for promoting healthy and adequate amount of tear production, which can help counter dry eyes. Moreover, it also contains Omega-3 fatty acids which further counter macular degeneration.

Walnuts: Walnuts are rich both in Omega 3 and Vitamin E. The latter is an excellent antioxidant. Walnuts can therefore make eyes ready to fight off any age-related damages such as a reduction in tear production.
